Bankruptcy Searches and Land Registry Documents* We require evidence of your title to support the Contract of Sale, accordingly we will need to obtain Official Copies of the register and a plan from the Land Registry for each title to the property we are dealing with. We also need to undertake bankruptcy searches against all parties involved in the transaction. All Land Registry searches will be charged at cost. The total cost of these searches is typically £10.00 – £20.00, but the exact cost depends upon the number of parties/titles involved in the transaction. We request £50.00 on account at the outset to cover the cost of these searches. Any shortfalls/surpluses will be dealt with immediately prior to completion. |
